8. Place both hands on the top of the side cover
(C). Lift the edge of the cover next to the top cover; this unlatches the cover and you should be able to slide the cover away from the printer.

9.IMPORTANT: Attach a grounding wrist strap to the perforated metal chassis, or touch the chassis regularly to dissipate static electricity from your body.
