26 Replacing the Fan

Procedure

1Connect the fan cable to the system-board connector.

2Align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on the computer base.

3Replace the screw that secures the fan to computer base.

4Adhere the LED-board cable over the fan.

5Slide the LED-board cable into the system-board connector and press down on the connector latch to secure the cable.

1Follow the instructions from step 4 to step 6 in "Replacing the Hard Drive" on page 55.

2Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 33.

3Replace the palm rest. See "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 29.
