18 Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery

WARNING: The battery may explode if installed incorrectly. Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Procedure

1With the positive-side facing up, snap the coin-cell battery into the battery socket on the system board.

2Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.

3Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 25.
