2Close the display and turn the computer over.

3Remove the screws that secure the bottom cover to the palm-rest assembly.

4Note the antenna cables routing and remove them from the routing guides on the bottom cover.

5Using a plastic scribe, pry the bottom cover off the palm-rest assembly.
