If you press any button other than the power button one of the following messages will appear depending on the selected input:

VGA/DVI-D input

If either VGA or DVI-D input is selected and both VGA and DVI-D cables are not connected, a floating dialog box as shown below appears.

PowerNap with Enhanced Menu Rotation Software

The PowerNap with Enhanced Menu Rotation software comes in the CD that shipped with the monitor you have just purchased. This software provides two functions – power-saving mode and allows for easy pivoting from landscape to portrait and vice versa.

The power-saving mode allows the user to select "Screen dim" or " Sleep" when the PC goes to the screensaver mode.

1.Screen dim - monitor dims to minimum brightness level when the PC is in the screensaver mode.

2.Sleep - monitor goes into the sleep mode when the PC is in the screensaver mode.

The Enhanced Menu Rotation function allows for pivoting of the monitor screen from the Monitor On Screen Menu Control, selection of “Landscape” and “Portrait” will trigger the monitor screen accordingly.

NOTE: PowerNap with Enhanced Menu Rotation function operates on VGA and DVI interface only.
