Power Source

Other than the AC adapter this printer can be operated with the battery pack (sold separately). The battery pack is attached to the printer after it has been recharged using the recharger, also sold separately.

Here we explain the usage of the Battery Pack and the Recharger, but before actually using them, please read the User Manuals that come with the Battery Pack and Recharger as well.

Note:

The new battery pack is uncharged. Be sure to charge it before your initial

use.

How to Recharge the Battery

1Plug the recharger plug into an AC wall outlet.

2Put the battery pack in the recharger unit. Make sure that the recharger and the battery pack <recharge-terminal directions> match up.

3While pressing down on the battery pack, slide them in the direction shown on the map.

[When recharge begins, the recharge lamp (green) will start to blink. After recharging the lamp will turn off.

n Removing the Battery Pack

You can remove the battery pack by sliding them in the opposite direction as the arrow on the figure above. For more information please refer to the manual that comes with the battery pack.
