Inserting the Battery

Inserting the Battery

The battery is included with the notebook as purchased.This battery is only partially charged. Note that the charging time for the battery is about 2.5 hours if the computer is switched off, or about 4 hours if the computer is switched on.

It is absolutely essen- tial to fully charge the battery for initial op- eration! Do not unplug the power adapter until the battery is fully charged.

(1)Insert the battery into the battery slot in the direction of the arrow. Gently push the battery until it locks into place.

(2)Lock the battery into position.

The battery can now be charged.

Removing the Battery

(1)Slide the release catch to the right.

(2)Slide and hold the left button to the left.

(3)Slide the battery backwards to remove it from the holder. You can now run the notebook with the power adapter alone!
