Chapter 3 Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with Magma ExpressBox1, verify that the 3rd party PCI Express card is seated properly and all cables are connected properly. (Remember to power On and Off correctly.) Recheck the Windows Device Manager or the Apple System Profiler.
If you continue to have problems, there is a
1.Shut down the computer followed by Magma ExpressBox1
2.Remove the PCI Express card displaying a problem
3.Replace the “problem card” with a simple PCI Express card, such as an Ethernet card that has drivers built into the operating system. (Using this “type of card” will avoid any future questions about drivers possibly being installed incorrectly.)
4.Turn on Magma ExpressBox1, and then turn on the computer.
