Placing Originals

Batch mode
In batch mode, the machine copies originals of more than 100 pages as a single document, even if it is placed in the ADF in sections.
Important
❒Place special originals, such as translucent paper, individually.
A Press [Special Original].
Note
❒You can also set to display [Batch] in initial settings. See p.129 “Special Original Display”.
B Press [Batch], and then [OK].
C Place the first section of the original, and then press the {Start} key.
D After the first section of the original has been fed, place the next, and then press the {Start} key.
E If Sort, Combine, or 1 Sided→2 Sided function is used, press the {#} key af- ter all of the originals have been fed.

❒If you want to copy subsequent originals in this mode, repeat step D.
