The Keypad Lock prevents user from pressing the keypad accidentally. You can still answer calls, and receive page and phonebook locations, and the keypad lock is reactivated after the operation.

To lock the keypad

Press and hold tone until you hear a confirmation tone.

Keypad Locked appears.

If anykey is pressed when keypad is locked,

To unlock keypad press & hold * key appears.

To unlock the keypad

Press and hold tone again. Keypad Unlocked appears.

Emergency calls to “000” or “111” will not function when keypad is locked.

Placing a Call on Hold

1)During a call, press /transfer/int’com. The call will be put on hold.

After 10 seconds of pressing /transfer/

int’com or by pressing the key, the handset display screen will read, Line On Hold.

2)To talk to the caller, press or speaker on a handset. The phone will return back to the call.

You can hold a call for 5 minutes, when 5 minutes has passed, the call is disconnected and the phone returns to standby mode.
