Deleting a Programmed Frequency (programming "000.0000")

You can erase a programmed frequency in a channel. To do this, find and display "000.0000", and then program "000.0000" into its channel.

OR –

b.If all channels are programmed, find "000.0000" from the Search/Program Mode.

Every search band has one "000.0000" display included between the band limits. It can be displayed only in the Program Mode (after pressing [PROG] and "CH" is blinking in the display).

1)Select Search band by pressing [BAND] in the Search Mode, for example band 50-54.

2)Press [HOLD] to stop searching.

3)Press [PROG] to go into Program Mode.

4)Use [UP] or [DOWN] to display the lowest frequency (50.0000) or the highest frequency (54.0000).

5)Press [UP] once for the highest frequency, or [DOWN] once for the lowest frequency to display "000.0000" with blinking "CH".
