Print Quality Modes

Set the print speed and resolution (dots per inch) through one of these selections (print speeds are for A/A4 paper only; print speed may be affected by type and size of media, coverage, size of the source ﬁle, and amount of printer memory):

Mode	Resolution	Speed
Standard Monochrome	■ 1200 x 600 dots per inch	■ 16 pages per minute
For quick black-and-white printing

Photo Monochrome*	■ 600 x 600 dots per inch; with	■ 16 pages per minute
For high-resolution black-and-white	continuous tone
printing

Standard	■ 600 x 600 dots per inch	■ 4 pages per minute
For the quickest color prints; best for
transparencies

Enhanced*	■ 1200 x 600 dots per inch	■ 4 pages per minute
For high-resolution color printing

Photo*	■ 600 x 600 dots per inch; with	■ 4 pages per minute
For high-resolution color printing with	continuous tone
smoothest color transitions

* Requires Graphics or Plus Feature Set.
