Print Quality Symptoms, continued

Symptom

Service Print 1

Oil streaks appear, especially after the printer has been idle.

Edges of prints are wrinkled, with an area of ragged discoloration.

Solutions

■Make another print.

■If using a hi-duty fuser roll cartridge and printing fewer than 250 prints per day, change to the standard fuser roll.

■Reseat the fuser roll cartridge.

■Make sure that the paper guides are ﬂush against the media in the trays. See “Loading Media Trays” on page 11.

■Make another print.
