Formatting the Hard Drive

The StoreJet3.5 contains a Hard Disk Drive and can therefore be formatted. The StoreJet3.5’s internal hard drive comes formatted for NTFS.

WARNING! Formatting the Disk will erase all of the data on your StoreJet3.5.

1.Plug the StoreJet3.5 into an available USB port. Connect the Power Adapter to the StoreJet3.5 enclosure’s power jack and connect the power cable to the adapter, then turn on the unit’s power switch.

2.In the Windows® OS, open My Computer and right-click on the new Local Disk that represents the StoreJet3.5.

3.Select “Format” in the drop down menu to format the StoreJet3.5.
