Disconnecting from a Computer

NEVER disconnect the StoreJetfrom a Computer, or turn off the power switch when its LED is flashing.

Removing the StoreJet3.5 in Windows98SE

Unplug your StoreJet3.5 from your system directly when data is not transferring and turn off the power switch.

Removing the StoreJet3.5 in WindowsMe, 2000 and XP

1.Select the Hardware icon on the system tray.

2.The Safely Remove Hardware pop-up window will appear. Select it to continue.

3.A message window will appear stating, The ‘USB Mass Storage Device’ device can now be safely removed from the system. Unplug the StoreJet3.5 and turn off its power switch.

WARNING! To prevent data loss, always use this procedure to remove the StoreJetfrom Windows® Me, 2000 and XP.

Removing the StoreJet3.5 in MacOS 9.0, or Later

Drag and drop the Disk icon that represents your StoreJet3.5 into the trashcan. Then unplug your StoreJet3.5 from the USB port and turn off its power switch.

Remove the StoreJet3.5 in LinuxKernel 2.4, or Later

Execute umount /mnt/Storejet to un-mount the device. Then unplug your StoreJet3.5 from the USB port and turn off its power switch.
