Controls and

Operation

The Ayre 3-Phase Power Supply has a front-panel button that controls the turntable motor. The unit can also control other linked components via the AyreLink communication system.

Status LED and Standby Button

The status LED on the front panel is also the standby button. Pressing this button selects between the “Standby” and “Operate” modes.

Red = Warm-UpWhen the unit is first connected to an AC power

Green = Standby outlet, the status LED will glow red for

Blue = Operate (33-1/3rpm) approximately 60 seconds, indicating that the unit

Violet = Operate (45 rpm) is in “Warm-Up” mode. After the circuitry has stabilized, the indicator light will change to green, indicating that the unit is in “Standby” mode and is ready for operation.

The turntable speed may be selected from the “Standby” mode. A short press of the front-panel button will select 33-1/3rpm and the indicator light will glow blue.
