Marking by the symbol indicates compliance of this Dell system to the Safety and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) directives of the European Community (89/336/EEC and 73/23/EEC). Such marking is indica- tive that this Dell system meets or exceeds the following technical standards.

Safety Standard

EN60950:1992 + Amd.1:1993 + Amd.2:1993 — “Safety of Information Technology Equipment including Electrical Business Equipment.”

EMC Standards

EN 55022 — “Limits and Methods of Measurement of Radio Interference Characteristics of Information Technology Equipment.”
