POWER SYSTEM

Because of the way the MoD BoX operates, the Power Switch shown and described in Section 1 does not disconnect all power. Turning this switch OFF gives every outward appearance that the jukebox is off, but the amplifier system is left energized so that the paging system (if installed) still operates and the core computer is left on so that the dial- up modem kit (if installed) can still make its scheduled call(s) even if the jukebox is “turned off” for the day.

Therefore it is important to bear in mind that to completely disconnect all power you must either unplug the power cord at the wall, or if that is inconvenient it can be disconnected where it enters the jukebox at the Power Supply Board Assembly. See Figure 1-7.
