Proxy DNS Settings

You may use the Router to provide DNS services for work stations on your LAN. To configure on-board DNS, click on the Proxy DNS button.

The Proxy DNS Menu presents the following user defined parameters:

Proxy DNS

Choose enabled or disabled from the drop down menu to enable or

disable the proxy DNS function. Default = enabled.

 

 

 

 

Click in the box to use (checked) or not use (unchecked) automatic

DNS detection. Using automatic DNS detection not allow you to

 

select a DNS server. Default = auto detect.

 

 

DNS Server IP

Type in the IP address of the DNS server you want to use (DNS

auto detect must be disabled).

 

 

 

When you are finished making changes to the Router DNS settings click on the OK button. You must save the changes and restart the device for the settings to go into effect.
