Appendix E: Upgrading Firmware

The ADSL Gateway allows you to upgrade firmware for the WAN (Internet) side of the Gateway and the LAN (network) side of the Gateway through the Web-Utility's Firmware Upgrade tab from the Administration tab. Follow these instructions:.

Upgrade from WAN

To upgrade the Gateway’s firmware from the WAN : Enter the URL for the firmware in the URL field, then click the

Upgrade button, and follow the instructions there.

Upgrade from LAN

To upgrade the Gateway’s firmware from the LAN:

1.Click the Browse button to find the firmware upgrade file that you downloaded from the Linksys website and then extracted.

2.Double-click the firmware file you downloaded and extracted. Click the Upgrade button, and follow the instructions there.
