2.5 My Initial Dictation

If everything was configured properly, you can try to record your first dictation:

Start the Philips Recorder.

After the initial installation the Start-Icon can usually be found in the folder Downloads.

Highlight the record button (dot) with the trackball. By pressing the record button you start and stop your dictation.

Alternatively, you can also use the space bar.

Once you are done with the dictation, press either the enter button or the menu button and then EOL. EOL stands for End Of Letter and finishes the dictation.

Now you might be asked for a Worktype.

Enter a meaningful name.
