How to use the unit with the supplied AC adaptor

Insert the plug of the AC adaptor into the [DC IN] jack on the main unit'srear panel, then con-

nect the power plug to a household AC power outlet.

Always set the [POWER] switch to OFF before connecting the AC adaptor.

When disconnecting the AC adaptor as well, be sure to first turn the [POWER] switch OFF. (Not doing so may damage the tape or rotating heads.)

• Using a car cigarette lighter

Use the separately sold DC-C5 car battery adaptor.

Turn the [POWER] switch OFF before connecting.

Also, be sure to set the [POWER] switch to OFF before turning the car'signition key OFF.
