39 Removing the Bluetooth Card

If you ordered a card with Bluetooth wireless technology with your computer, it is already installed.

Prerequsites

1Remove the battery pack. See "Removing the Battery Pack" on page 12.

2Remove the compartment door. See "Removing the Compartment Door" on page 14.

3Remove the center control cover. See "Removing the Center Control Cover" on page 41.

4Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 45.

5Remove the power button board. See "Removing the Power Button Board" on page 55.

6Remove the display assembly. See "Removing the Display Assembly" on page 57.

7Remove the status light board. See "Removing the Status Light Board" on page 61.

8Remove the palm rest assembly. See "Removing the Palm Rest Assembly" on page 64.

Procedure

1Disconnect the Bluetooth-card cable from the connector on the system board.

2Remove the screw that secures the Bluetooth card to the system board.

3Lift the Bluetooth card away from the system board.
