Setup Procedures

Macintosh Users

Make sure that system configuration (CPU, RAM, OS, etc.) of your computer meets the requirements of the CRW2200IX drive (P. 5).

STEP

1 Install the CD writing software.

Turn your computer and the drive both on before

 

connecting.

Connect your computer and the drive using the

 

 

IEEE1394 interface cable that came with the drive.

Make sure that the CRW2200IX drive is correctly recognized (P. 19)

Before using the drive, make sure that the drive is recognized by the MacOS and CD writing software on your computer.

Start using the CRW2200IX drive

Use the drive to create an audio CD, to backup data on your hard drive, or for whatever purpose suits your needs.
