Receiving a fax manually (AUTO ANSWER off)
Using the main unit:

1 When you hear a ring, lift the handset or press

(Speakerphone) to answer the call.
2 When:
–document reception is required,
–a fax calling tone (slow beep) is heard, or
–no sound is heard,

3 Replace the handset if you are using it.
●The unit will start fax reception.

When AUTO ANSWER mode is off, the unit provides two types of receiving modes: “ﾃﾞﾝﾜﾕｳｾﾝ” (Telephone) mode and “FAXﾕｳｾﾝ” (Fax/Telephone) mode.
Telephone mode (ﾃﾞﾝﾜﾕｳｾﾝ)
When receiving calls, you have to answer all calls manually.
Fax/Telephone mode (FAXﾕｳｾﾝ):
Select this mode when you are near the unit and want to use it to receive voice calls yourself and fax calls automatically.
Change the setting if you want to use this mode.
1.Press 機能� (Function).
2.Press 
(Search button) repeatedly until the following is displayed.
