AUTO ANSWER mode will work when the 
(Auto answer) light is on.
AUTO ANSWER mode provides three types of receiving modes: “FAX / ﾙｽﾃﾞﾝ” (Fax/Answering device) mode,
“FAXｾﾝﾖｳ” (Fax only) mode and “ﾙｽﾃﾞﾝｾﾝﾖｳ” (Answering device only) mode.
Fax/Answering device mode (FAX / ﾙｽﾃﾞﾝ)
Select this mode when you want to receive all voice and fax calls automatically.
Fax only mode (FAXｾﾝﾖｳ):
Select this mode when you wish to use the unit only as a fax machine.
Answering device only mode (ﾙｽﾃﾞﾝｾﾝﾖｳ):
Select this mode when you wish to use the unit only as a telephone answering device.
Change the setting if you want to use the fax only mode or answering device only mode.
