You can record your own greeting message. When receiving a call, it will be played to callers instead of the pre-recorded Japanese greeting message.

2 Press (Search button) repeatedly until the following is displayed.

4 Lift the handset.

5 Press (Start) and record your greeting message, up to 16 seconds, using the handset.

Press (Stop).

7 Replace the handset.

Your greeting message will be played back

AUTO ANSWER mode will work when the (Auto answer) light is on.

AUTO ANSWER mode provides three types of receiving modes: “FAX / ルスデン” (Fax/Answering device) mode,

FAXセンヨウ” (Fax only) mode and “ルスデンセンヨウ” (Answering device only) mode.

Fax/Answering device mode (FAX / ルスデン)

–Pre-selected setting:

Select this mode when you want to receive all voice and fax calls automatically.

Fax only mode (FAXセンヨウ):

Select this mode when you wish to use the unit only as a fax machine.

Answering device only mode (ルスデンセンヨウ):

Select this mode when you wish to use the unit only as a telephone answering device.

Change the setting if you want to use the fax only mode or answering device only mode.

2.Press (Search button) repeatedly until the following is displayed.
