Connecting a BS digital tuner / Digital CS tuner

1 Connect to the BS digital tuner / Digital CS tuner.

1 Turn the portable handset on and place it into the charger.

2Place the portable handset and the charger so that the portable handset display shows 3 or more bars. ( ~ )

2 Set up the BS digital tuner / Digital CS tuner.

1Set the dialing mode to “Tone”.

2 Turn the dial tone detection on.

3 After all the connections and settings are completed, check to make sure the BS digital tuner / Digital CS tuner is ready for communication.

Note:

You cannot use the BS digital tuner / Digital CS tuner when the dial line is at speeds of 10pps.

You cannot use the Digital CS tuner when the dial line is at speeds of 20pps.

If you connect this unit to ISDN Lines, you cannot use this feature.

When you use Matsushita ISDN Terminal Adaptor (Part no. T0-TAB128D2), you can use Matsushita BS Digital Hi-vision TV (Part no. TH-36D10) and BS Digital Hi-vision Tuner (Part no. TU-BHD100).

If you connect this unit to a PBX or an adaptor which automatically selects a telephone line, you might not use this feature.
