Removing the Wireless USB Network Adapter

The adapter is Hot Swappable, which means that you can remove or reconnect the adapter whenever you want without turning off your PC. Although, you might need to renew your network connection

Note: If you have multiple USB ports on your PC, make sure to reconnect the adapter into the same port that it was removed; other- wise, the adapter will be detected as a new device.

Using the Wireless USB Network Adapter’s Wall Mount

The Wireless USB Network Adapter’s Wall Mount allows you to easily install the Wireless USB Network Adapter onto your wall for convenient use and bet- ter reception.

Before installing

the Wall

 

Mount into the Wireless USB

 

Network

Adapter,

take

the

 

separate

adhesive

strip

of

 

velcro and attach it to the

 

wall where you will be

 

mounting the Wireless USB

 

Network Adapter.

 

 

 

The Wall Mount, shown in

Figure 5-3

 

Figure 5-3, is included with

 

the Wireless USB Network

 

Adapter.

 

 

 

 

To install it into the Wireless

 

USB Network Adapter,

sim-

 

ply slide it into the Adapter’s back, as shown in steps one, two, and three.

Once the Wall Mount is attached to the Wireless USB Network Adapter, stick it to the velcro strip you’ve attached to your wall for wall mounting.
