asynchronous; 1200 and 2400 bps,	103J or 212A or CCITT V.22 bis modems.

	after call has been established.

Low power consumption	Energy savings. Low power consumption makes the
	modem ideal for battery powered circuits.

	allows easy integration within the equipment.

Integral test features	Convenience. Integral diagnostics permit easy
	isolation of communication faults.
