Boot Sequence

The Boot menu allows you to select among the three possible boot devices listed using the up and down arrow keys. By using the <+> or <Space> key, you can promote devices and by using the <-> key, you can demote devices. Promotion or demotion of devices alters the priority which the system uses to search for a boot device on system power up. Configuration options: [Removable Devices] [IDE Hard Drive] [SCSI Boot Device] [Other Boot Device]

Removable Device Select [Legacy Floppy]

Configuration options: [Legacy Floppy] [LS120] [ZIP-100] [ATAPI MO]

IDE Hard Drive Select

This field allows you to select the IDE hard disk drive included in the boot sequence. Pressing [Enter] will show the product IDs of all your connected IDE hard disk drives.

Other Boot Device Select [ATAPI CD-ROM Drive]

Configuration options: [ATAPI CD-ROM Drive] [Network]

Plug & Play O/S [No]

This field allows you to use a Plug-and-Play (PnP) operating system to configure the PCI bus slots instead of using the BIOS. Thus interrupts may be reassigned by the OS when [Yes] is selected. When a non-PnP OS is installed or to prevent reassigning of interrupt settings, select the default setting of [No]. Configuration options: [No] [Yes]
