4.7.2 TCP/UDP Filter Configuration
Function name: TCP/UDP Filter Configuration
Function description: This switch allows you to configure each port you want to limit or allow the TCP/UDP protocol type to get through, such as HTTP, FTP or TELNET and so on.
Parameter description: Function Enable: Enable/ Disable this TCP/UDP Filter.
Port Filtering Rule: Deny means that the selected TCP/UDP protocol types will be dropped to the specified port and allow other protocol packets to be forwarded. Allow means that only the selected TCP/UDP protocol types will be forwarded to the specified port and other protocols packet will be dropped.
Secure Port: Select the port you want to filter.
NOTE: Set the secure WAN port to the physical port that is connected to the server. Once this function is enabled, the switch will check the destination TCP/UTP port number at the outgoing direction of the secure WAN port. If the condition matches, this packet will be dropped or forwarded.
Protocol: Select the protocol you want to add to the filtering list. The system also allows you to define the protocol you want to add to the list.
