Connecting the VP-747 Control Ports

7.3 Connecting the VP-747 to the Kramer VP-727T

To connect the VP-747to the Kramer VP-727TPresentation Switcher Control Panel1 via the mini XLR connector, as illustrated in, do the following:

Connect the “A” PIN on the TO CONTROLLER mini XLR connector of the VP-747to the A (+) PIN on the RS-485 rear panel port of the VP-727Tunit

Connect the “B” (-) PIN on the TO CONTROLLER mini XLR connector of the VP-747to the B (-) PIN on the RS-485 rear panel port of the VP-727Tunit

If shielded twisted pair cable is used, the shield may be connected to the “G” (Ground) PIN on one of the units

It is recommended that the PROGRAM and PREVIEW are set with the same

output resolutions for the best results when working with the T-bar
