11.8.3 Menu Settings command
When you click the [Menu Settings...] command of the [Config] command in the [Network] menu, the following window will appear. You can set the menus using this window.
The instant this window appears, the menu settings are loaded from the connected digital recorder and refreshing of live pictures and playback are automatically stopped.
For details of each setting item, please refer to the operation manual of the digital recorder.

This command is unavailable unless the [Regist] authority described in Section 11.8.1 “User Main- tenance command” ( page 32) is effective. Moreover, this command is unavailable when the [SUPER USER] port of the digital recorder is being used by other user of
(a) Common functions among the setting items
The name and IP address of the connected digital recorder are displayed at the top this window.

When you click the [OK] button, the changes made to the menu settings are fixed, if any. When you click the [Cancel] button, all the changes are canceled.
When you click the [Regist] button (DVR) after completion of changing the menu settings, the changes are registered in the digital recorder. The digital recorder is automatically turned off.
By clicking the [Regist Now] button, you can register the changed menu settings in the digital recorder at once. (The digital recorder isn’t turned off in this case.)
However, if you make changes that are prohibited even on the digital recorder’s side, including any changes to the recording patterns during recording, such changes aren’t registered in the digital recorder. (The settings are transmitted to the digital recorder, but they don’t take effect.)
