PLAYING A DISC RECORDED IN THE VIDEO RECORDING FORMAT

DVD-RW

The user can select either “Original” or “Play list” before playing the disc if a “Play list” has been set in the disk recorded in the Video Recording Format.

1Press the MENU button when the system is at rest.

¡The menu screen of the currently set state appears.

2Using the arrow buttons (s/B) select “Original” or “Play list”.

¡The menu screen does not display any play list unless a play list has been created.

¡When the setting state is switched, “resume” will be released.

¡If the list contains eight or more titles, the user may turn the page using SKIP buttons H or G.

3Using the arrow buttons (K/L) select the desired title to play.

4Press the ENTER button.

¡The player starts playing the selected title.

¡“Original” here means a title made by recording by DVD recorder.

¡“Play list” here means titles made for compilation based on the originals.

USING THE TITLE MENU

DVD-A DVD-V

With a DVD containing a title menu, you can select desired titles from the menu.

1Press the TITLE button.

¡The title menu will appear.

2Select the desired title.

¡Press the arrow buttons (L/K/B/s) to change the setting, and then press the ENTER button.

CALLING UP A MENU SCREEN DURING PLAYBACK

For DVDs

¡Press the MENU button to call up the DVD menu. ¡Press the TITLE button to call up the title menu.

VCD

With a Video CD containing a title menu, you can select desired titles from the menu.

1.The title menu will appear.

2.Press the numeric button to select the menu. Playback will start.
