1STANDBY indicator

Lights when the power cord is connected and the unit is on standby. When the unit is turned on, the STANDBY indicator goes off.

2STANDBY/ON button (23) Turns the unit on or off (standby).

3DISC 1 through DISC 3 trays (23)

Used to load discs. To insert/remove a disc, press the 0 (Open/Close) button.

4 0 (Open/Close) buttons (23)

Used to open and close the corresponding disc trays (1 to 3).

5DISC 1 through DISC 3 buttons with indicators Used to start playback of the disc in the corresponding tray with the number indicated on the button. While playing, the corresponding indicator blinks.

6MIC 1/2 jacks (46)

Used to connect microphones.

7MIC 1/2 level controls (46)

Used to control the input level of microphones connected to the MIC 1/2 jacks.

8Remote sensor

Receives signa ls from the remote control unit.

9Display window (7)

Indicates the current status of the unit.

04/¢ (SKIP) buttons (25, 42) Used to skip a chapter, title or track.

Also, used for the page selection of a menu screen (for Video CD/SVCD).

Holding down 4or ¢during playback reverses or advances playback rapidly (except MP3 disc).

-7 (STOP) button (24, 42) Stops playback.

Also used to change the video output setting (See page 17).

=3 (PLAY) button (24, 42)

Starts playback. Also, used as a SELECT button for PBC of Video CDs/SVCDs.

~8 (PAUSE) button (24, 31, 42) Pauses playback.

Also, used to display nine continuous still pictures (STROBE function).
