•Note that this section describes operations for playback of DVD VIDEO, DVD AUDIO, Audio CD and Video CD discs. For MP3 disc playback, see the independent chapter on and after page 54. But “Checking the sampling frequency” on page 53 is applied to MP3 discs.

•In the table above, “yes*” shows that the corresponding function is effective to non-audio information (such as movies, still pictures and text data) if recorded on a DVD AUDIO disc.

NOTE

Make sure that the TV - DVD switch is set to “DVD” when using the CURSOR 5/∞/2/3, numeric and TV/VIDEO

TV DVD - CANCEL buttons for controlling the unit.
