3Function buttons

The function changes according to the mode of the remote.

AV SYSTEM 1/2: Press to select the source of the receiver.

2ND ROOM: Press to select the source you want to output from the 2ND ROOM jacks.

3RD ROOM: Press to select the source you want to output from the 3RD ROOM jacks.

Press one of the buttons to select the component you want to use. When you press any of the function buttons, the receiver turns on. The components are factory assigned to the buttons as follows. When you want to assign other components, program the remote following the steps in “Changing the button assignments”.

4SHIFT button

When the tuner is selected, press repeatedly to select a memory page for presetting radio stations or tuning to preset stations.

5MUTING button

The function of this button is same as the MUTING button on the receiver. See page 27.

6MASTER VOL +/– buttons

Press to adjust the volume level of all speakers at the same time.

7ANALOG DIRECT button

The function of this button is same as the ANALOG DIRECT button on the receiver. See page 34.

8MODE +/– buttons

The function of these buttons is same as the MODE +/– buttons on the receiver. See pages 36–37.

9PRESET button

Press to select CINEMA STUDIO EX A–C or D.CONCERT HALL A, B.

0SOUND FIELD AUTO DEC/2CH ST buttons

The function of these buttons is same as the AUTO DEC and 2CH STEREO buttons on the receiver. See page 34.

qa CH/PRESET/D.SKIP/+/– buttons*

Press repeatedly to select a preset station or channel. When using a multi-disc changer, press to skip a disc.
