To change button assignments for the 2nd room mode

When the remote is set to the 2nd room mode, you can set the remote to turn the receiver on/off or adjust the volume.

You can assign the following buttons:

?/1, MUTING, MASTER VOL +, MASTER VOL –

Example: To set the command mode of above 4 buttons to “AV SYSTEM 1” while in the 2nd room mode.

1 Press USE MODE more than 2 seconds.

The indicator remains lit.

2 Press 2ND ROOM.

3 Press AV SYSTEM 1.

4 Press SOURCE.

The indicator slowly lights up twice, then goes off.

For the above 4 buttons, the signals for AV SYSTEM 1 are output even in the 2nd room mode. Besides, you can operate the receiver whose command mode is “AV SYSTEM 1”.

To change assignments for the 3rd room.

Press 3RD ROOM in step 2.

Note

To reset the assignments of ?/1, MUTING, MASTER VOL +, MASTER VOL –, press 2ND ROOM (during 2nd room mode) or 3RD ROOM (during 3rd room mode) in step 3. Or, clear all remote button assignments (page 00), then perform the procedures on page 00 or 00.

To set the remote RM-US105A not to adjust the volume in the 2nd (or 3rd) room

Press the following buttons in step 3:

3RD ROOM (during 2nd room mode)

2ND ROOM (during 3rd room mode)

You cannot use ?/1, MASTER VOL +, MASTER VOL – on the remote RM-US105 to operate the amplifier in the 2nd (or 3rd) room.
