If you think something may be wrong with the system:
•Immediately turn off the power.
•Disconnect the power, remove the battery, and make sure that there is no smoke nor extreme heat.
•Find the problem in the troubleshooting table below, then follow the solution steps.
•Never try to repair the system by yourself, because it’s dangerous to open the system, and you can hurt yourself and damage the system.

Solution
Close the disc cover.
Put a disc in to the player.
Put the disc in with the label side up.
Clean or change the disc.
Make sure that the DVD’s region code is the same as the player’s region code (Region 1).
Remove the disc and keep the player on for at least two hours.
Plug the sound connections in correctly.
Turn on the speakers.
Set up the DVD sound correctly. Check settings in the DVD player and in the DVD’s own audio setup menu.
Clean or change the disc.
Turn on the display and choose the correct video mode.
Plug the video connections in correctly.
