Teletext Function

Teletext Function

Basic Operation

1.Choose a TV channel with a teletext broadcast.

2.Press TV / TEXT button to display the teletex

3.Choose a teletext page by pressing color buttons or number buttons.

z If you have trouble receiving teletext broadcasts, consult your local dealer or the teletext function.

z The ZOOM function will not work in the TV and text mode or Text mode.

z You cannot operate menus when viewing a teletext programme.

4.To return to the TV mode : Press the TV/Text button.

CANCEL

You can search for a teletext page while watching TV.

1.Press color button or number button to enter a page.

2.Press the CANCEL button :

The TV program appears. When the TV finds the teletext page, its page number appears in the upper left of the screen.

3.Press the CANCEL button to return a teletext page when the page number is on the screen.

NOTE: The TV mode cannot be resumed by pressing the CANCEL button. To return to the TV mode press TV/Text button.

Sub-page

Some teletext pages include sub-pages that are automatically displayed.

1.Choose a teletext page that includes snb-pages.

2.Press the SUB-PAGE button numbers can be viewed and displayed at the screen.

3.Press the number buttons to choose a sub-page number

Reveal

Some teletext pages include hidden text ( such as the answers to quiz).

You can display the hiddentext.

INDEX

 

RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE

zYou can return to the index page instantly.

zPress the INDEX button : Return to page 100or a previously specified page.

Each of these buttons selects a link page displayed at the lower part of the screen.
