Listening to the Radio

To turn off the radio

Press the STANDBY button.

To listen to non-preset radio stations Use manual or automatic tuning in step 2.

For manual tuning, press TUNING ( or ) repeatedly. For automatic tuning, press and hold TUNING ( or ) until the frequency indicator starts to change automatically, then re- lease the button.

To improve reception

Reorient the supplied antennas.

Presetting Radio Stations

You can preset 40 stations for FM and AM randomly. Before tuning, make sure that you have turned down the volume to the minimum.

In DVD, AUX1 or TV/AV mode, press the TUNER on the

remote control to select Tuner function directly.

To select between FM or AM, press the TUNER button.

 

You can select FM or AM band using the SOURCE button

 

on the front panel.

Press and hold the TUNING (

) button until the

 

 

frequency indicator starts to change automatically, then

 

 

release the button.

 

 

 

 

Scanning stops when the system tunes in a station.

 

4Press MEMORY(MEMO).

A preset number P00and PROGRAMindicator appear on the front panel display.

5Press the PRESET (+ or -)button on the remote control to select a preset number you want.

You can use the number buttons (0~9 / >10) on the remote control to key in a preset number directly.

6Press the MEMO button again to store the station.

If you do not press this button in 5 seconds or you press any other buttons, the station will not be stored in the sys- tem.

The preset number and Programindicator disappear.

7Repeat Step 2 to 6 to store other stations.

To tune in a station with a weak signal

Press the TUNING ( or ) repeatedly in Step 3 to tune in the station manually.
