Installation Goal

The goal for installing the NCR 5972 Customer Display is for a reasonably trained operator or store manager to fully install the terminal in less than 15 minutes.

To qualify as reasonably trained an installer or store manager must be fluent with the terminology and basic technology of PC hardware and software. This level of knowledge can typically be found in an individual who has installed several PC systems, and who routinely uses a PC for personal or business computing.
