TROUBLESHOOTING

On-Screen Messages

When the unit's power is ON, messages such as those shown below may be displayed. When any such message is displayed on the screen, please respond as described below.

CHANGE THE LAMP

The unit does not display a warning message on the screen when

AFTER REPLACING LAMP,

the lamp expires or fails. When the lamp does not light, this indicates

that the lamp is no longer functional and should be replaced. Replace

CLEAN THE AIR FILTER

A note of precaution when cleaning the air filter.

AFTER CLEANING AIR FILTER,

After cleaning the filter, operate FILTER TIME of the OPTION Menu,

NO INPUT IS DETECTED

There is no input signal.

Check the signal input connection and the status of the signal

 

source.

 

 

SYNC IS OUT OF RANGE

The horizontal or vertical frequencies of the inputted signal is outside

of the operating range limits of this unit. Please confirm the specs for

this unit or the signal source specs.

 

 

 

CHECK THE AIR FLOW

The internal temperature is rising. Please turn the power OFF, then

 

allow the unit to cool down for approximately 20 minutes. After hav-

 

ing confirmed the following items, then please reset the power to ON.

 

Is there blockage of the air filter?

 

Is the air filter dirty?

 

Does the ambient temperature exceeds 35°C?
