Common Interface

Module Menu

-The Common Interface menu allows you to access a pay-per-view (PPV) service on your TV set. This feature operates once you have obtained a CI module and a viewing card. If you want to know the pay-per-view (PPV) service in your region, please contact your nearest PPV provider for detail.

Note :

Switch off the TV using the power button before inserting or removing a module.

If you are installing a TV software update, please follow the dedicated instructions supplied with the module.

Insert the CI module as described below:

Some Common Interface Modules may be a two piece design consisting of a card reader together with the viewing card.

1.Setting CI Card.

When using the design card, first insert the card reader firmly into the CI slot on the TV.

Insert the viewing card into the reader.

Switching on the TV

Press the “MENU” button and move to the DVB-T SET- UP Menu with the “￿UP/DOWN￿” buttons.

Access the System Menu with the “￿LEFT/RIGHT￿

buttons and move and access to the Common Inter- face Menu with the “￿UP/DOWN￿” buttons.

If you have inserted a CI Module, Check that it is fully inserted and the CI module name will be displayed.

Note : If no module is inserted the message “Slot 1 : No CI Module” will be displayed.

2.CI Main Menu.

Press the “MENU” button to call up the menu.

Move the selection bar to the DVB-T Setup menu with “￿UP/DOWN￿” buttons.

Press the “RIGHT￿” button.

Place the selection bar on Common Interface Menu and press the “RIGHT￿” button.

You can see all available CI Information.
