How to use the main menu

This DVD+VCR can easily be programmed by using the menus displayed on screen.

The menus are controlled from the Remote Control Handset.

1 Switch on your TV set and DVD+VCR by press- ing .

2The main menu will appear on the TV screen.Press i.

ACMS (Automatic Channel Memory System) (see right column).

Date & clock setting (see p. 16).

OSYSTEM

To set the Colour TV System (see p. 16).

OABC OSD

To change the language setting for OSD.

You can select the language from English, Russian, German, French and Polish.

ODr.

To check a problem with your DVD+VCR (see p. 31).

OF.OSD ON/OFF

To display the operational mode of your DVD+VCR (see p. 31).

O16:9/4:3

To select the aspect ratio of your TV (see p. 32).

ODPC

To improve the playback picture (see p. 21).

ONIC

To activate or deactivate the NICAM digital sound (see p. 32).

3Press 1 and 2 to select the desired menu.

4Press OK and press 3 or 4 to select.

5Press i to return to a TV picture.

Tuning in TV Stations Automatically

Should you wish to perform the Automatic Channel

After automatic tuning has taken place please check that TV stations have been placed in Video Plus+ system order otherwise you will be unable to successfully use this excellent feature.

2Press i.

The main menu will appear on the TV screen.

3Press F or G to select ACMS and press OK.

5After storing all available TV stations your DVD+VCR will sort them into VIDEO Plus+ System order.

While automatic tuning is taking place the time and date will set automatically. If - - : - - appears in the DVD+VCR display it means that the broadcast sig- nal is weak and the clock was not set. Please turn to CLOCK SET section of this book on page 16.
