Programmed Playback CD MP3 VCD2.0 VCD1.1

Programmed Playback with Audio CD and MP3 Discs

Programme allows you to store your favorite tracks for a particular disc in the player memory.

Programme can contain 32 tracks (Audio CD) or 60 tracks (MP3 disc).

Insert the disc and close the tray.

1 The menu is displayed on the TV screen.

Press PROGRAM during playback or in the stop

2 mode to enter the Programme Edit mode.

The E mark will appear to the right of the word Programme on the right side of the menu screen.

Note

Press PROGRAM to exit the Programme Edit mode; the

Emark will disappear.

3SELECT/OK to place the selected track on the Programme list.Press 3/4 to select a track, then press

4 Repeat step 3 to place additional tracks on the Programme list.

Programmed Playback with Video CD

Note

On a Video CD with PBC, you must set PBC to Off on the setup menu to use the Programme function. See page 19.

1Insert Video CD and close the tray.

Press PROGRAM while playback is stopped.

2 The VCD Programme menu will appear.

Note

Press RETURN or PROGRAM to exit the Programme menu.

Repeat Programmed Tracks

To repeat the track currently playing, press REPEAT.

The Repeat Track icon appears on the menu screen.

To repeat all tracks on the programme list, press REPEAT a second time.

The Repeat All icon appears on the menu screen.

To cancel Repeat mode, press REPEAT a third time.

5The programmed track you selected last is highlighted on the Programme list.Press 2.

6 Press 3/4 to select the track you want to start playing.

Press TITLE to move to the next page.

Press DISC MENU to move to the previous page.

7Playback begins in the order in which you programmed the tracks and “PROG.” appears on the menu screen.

Playback stops after all of the tracks on the Programme list have played once.Press PLAY (H) to start.

The Repeat Off icon appears on the menu screen.

Erasing a Track from Programme List

1Press PROGRAM during playback or in the stop mode to enter the Programme Edit mode.

The E mark will appear.

2Press 2 to move to the Programme list.

3Use 3/4 to select the track that you wish to erase from the Programme list.

4Press CLEAR.

The track will be erased from the Programme list.

Erasing the Complete Programme List

1Follow steps 1-2 of “Erasing a Track from Programme List” as above.

2Use 3/4 to select “Clear All”, then press SELECT/OK.

The complete Programme for the disc will be erased.

The programmes are also cleared when the disc is removed.

To resume normal playback from programmed playback

Press and hold PROGRAM for 3 seconds until “PROG.” indicator disappears in the display window.
