SPECIAL PLAYBACK

Picture Search (Forward and Reverse)

1Press the FF (or REW) button, during normal playback.

øThe image can be seen while the tape is advanced (or rewound) at high speed.

2To return to normal playback, press the PLAY button.

NOTES:

XDuring picture search, noise (horizontal bars) will appear in the picture.

XThe sound is muted.

Still Image

1Press the STILL/PAUSE button, during normal playback.

øA still image can be viewed.

2To return to normal playback, press the PLAY button.

NOTES:

XIf still mode continues for 5 minutes or more, the VCR will go into stop mode to avoid damaging the tape.

XIf the image is unstable (rolling vertically), adjust the vertical lock control to correct.

Field Advance

1Press the FF (or REW) button, during still image mode.

øThe still image is advanced (or rewound) of one image (field).

2To return to normal playback, press the PLAY button.

NOTES:

XDuring reverse field advance, noise will appear in the picture.

XIf field advance mode continues for 5 minutes or more, the VCR will go into stop mode to avoid damaging the tape.

Reverse Playback

1Press and hold the REV button, during normal playback.

øReverse playback will start.

2To return to normal playback, release the REV button.

NOTES:

XDuring reverse playback, noise will appear in the picture.

XReverse playback is only possible during 2-hour playback speed mode.

XThe sound is muted.
