Connecting a VCR (for Recording)

TV REAR

Cables are often color-

coded to connectors.

Connect red to red, white

to white, etc.

How to connect:

Connect the Audio/Video cables between the Audio (L/R)/Video jacks on the unit and VCR.

To record program

1.Turn on your TV, select a program you wish to record.

2.Turn on your VCR, insert a videotape for recording.

3.Press the Record button to begin recording.

!Only analog TV programs, AV1, AV2, and S-VIDEO input sources can be output through the AV output jacks.

Connecting Digital Optical Audio

your Hi-Fi or Audio processor to	Optical audio cable

terminal on the TV rear.

Note The S/PDIF OUT jack is available only when a digital TV channel is received.

Connecting Headphones

Insert the plug of the headphone into the TV’s Headphone jack.

When using headphones, adjust the headphone volume so as to avoid excessive levels, as hearing damage may result.
