Moisture Condensation
Never operate this unit immediately after moving it from a cold location to a warm location. When the VCR is exposed to such a change in temperature, moisture may condense on the cylinder inside the machine.
If the VCR is operated as it is, the tape may stick to the tape head and cause damage to the tape and/or the deck. Under these circumstances, do not operate the VCR for about 2 hours. Leave the power cord connected so that the VCR can dry out.
