10. TIMER setting

The TIMER setting you have made will restore to default value in about 6 seconds after you turn off the set.

Press the MENU button (1) to display

the main menu, press VOL or VOL (2)

to select TIMER menu, press CH (3) to cycle through the menu and select the desired item.

10.1 OFF timer

With the OFF timer, the TV will automatically switch to standby mode at a preset time. The setting steps are as follows:

In TIMER menu press CHor CH button (3) to select Timer Off and press VOL or VOL button (2) to set the time after which you want to turn off the set. (from 10-240 minutes and in 10-minute step). If you want to cancel OFF timer, press VOL or VOL button (2) until "---" is displayed.

You can also make use of SLEEP timer function to turn off the set automatically after a preset time, and bring the set to standby mode. Every time you press the SLP button (4) the timer will skip to the next one (in 10-minute step) until it reaches to 240 minutes. Press it again, the timer returns to ---, and the sleep timer is cancelled.

10.2 ON timer

With the ON timer, the TV which is at standby mode will

 

 

automatically turn on at a preset time. The setting steps are

 

as follows:

 

Press CH or CH (3) to select Timer On and press

 

VOL or VOL (2) to set the TV ON time (range from 10-720

 

minutes and in 10-minute step). If you want to cancel ON timer,

 

press VOL or VOL (2) until "---" is displayed.

 

Note: when the ON timer setting is effective, the green timer

 

indicator will light up to inform the user.
